EJ’s Theory

GET MORE EXPERIENCE.

Full-time junior business development employees pursue the wrong deals, burden your tech team, and don't have the experience to inform strategy.

FOR LESS MONEY.

Why hire full-time "waterfall" business development? The gig economy is not just for Uber drivers. BD work comes in predictable waves.

NOW.

Avoid the 6-12 month hiring process and test your GTM hypothesis early to avoid costly mistakes.

TEST & ADJUST PRODUCT MARKET FIT.

Test your biggest GTM risk as early as possible without damaging your brand. The moment of truth is when you ask the customer for money.

EJ’s Differentiators

Fractional Business Development is an alternative to full-time business development.

Full-time business development is inefficient for most early stage strategies, whether large or small companies. Fractional BD provides higher value and speed through flexibility and variable cost to match needs over time and it allows you to move quickly in establishing partnerships, while avoiding the 6-12 month hiring process. Eric has engaged nine companies to date, in varying capacities, since shifting to this model in 2020.
